Old Elm

Things get gnarled
after a few hundred years.

I saw this pic in my feed last week, but when I came over it wasn't there. Trees have stories to tell. I sit and listen now and again. Have written their stories down a few times.

Love this pic, is it yours?

Yes...I ran out and shot it
in a winter fog. I waited a few
years for the right conditions.
I survived that place, too.
3/4 of my cohort didn't go
the 4 years. Interesting times.
I'm a bit gnarled myself.

I railed too much in a piece,
took it all down, then put back
the pic. It's pretty amazing
in the fog.

If you tap on the pic you
can get a bigger view.

It is gnarly and that is why I like it. Would you submit it for our site. Since I am not using you right now for anything on there, it would be fair. It fits what I want on the site. Zombies could come out of that fog. The tree is sort of a necro-forest, shrub, etc.

It makes me want to write something about a necro-hugger LOL
